Congratulations to Trek

Wow! Three posts in one day! Can you stand it?

Congratulations to Trek for winning the movie line contest from 9 to 5. I love that movie. I could watch it over and over and over again and never get sick of it.

This next line could be a challenge. But you know I'm always here for you if you need a hint. Try your luck with this line:

"You always end with a jade's trick. I know you of old."

Good luck to everyone.

Thanks for giving me your blog address on Saturday. I sat down yesterday and read the whole thing. I really enjoyed your knitting adventures and your love of family. The shop hop was a blast. Glad it was a good experience for you. Our Guild program in May is by Betsy McCarthy the author of Knit Socks! I hope you can come. She had a pattern that she will hand out and books for sale. She is a wonderful sock knitter and has taught many classes and workshops and loves to introduce beginners. The meeting is at 7pm on May 18th at the Tigard Sr. Center. Cheryl usually comes. At the Guild Bd. Meeting the other night(I'm program co-chair), we got an updated membership list and there is a Katrina on it. If that is you, we live very close to each other. I live off 80th on Landau, all the way up to the dead end before 72nd. Patti

Okay. It's one of those Shakespeare movies. I can just picture whats-her-name saying it to Kenneth Branaugh. I saw all those movies in one weekend Shakespeare binge so they all kind of run together. (Well, except "Love's Labor's Lost" which was an appalling piece of crap, but I digress...) It's not coming to me. Oh well, maybe this will help someone else.

Patti--It was nice to meet you on Saturday at the shop hop. I still remember your friendly smiling face. Yes, the Katrina on the list of new members for the Tigard knitting guild is me. We DO live close to each other. I'm just around the corner from Metzger park. Hello neighbor!
And I will definitely be at the May guild meeting. How nice that the topic is socks, since I'm going to be attempting my first pair soon. I look forward to seeing you there.

Tam--You are THISCLOSE to the answer to the movie line contest. The line was indeed spoken to Kenneth Branagh (by his real-life then-wife). This is my favorite adapted Shakespearean movie. Maybe the answer will come to you yet. Give it time.

Welcome Jenni! I'm glad you found my blog. What are your favorite Portland area knitting shops and why?

Your Grandmother Frances would have been so proud of your knitting; and interested in all of your projects!! I enjoy your knitting blog and meeting your knitting friends, too. I am still excited about the illusion dishcloth you started me on, and of course, the scarfs that are so relaxing for me to do, and thanks!, you knew how much fun it would be for me. You are Sunshine.

Um... can I have your grandma? Or your kids' grandma, whichever she is? Just asking.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. After serious consideration I have decided that since Kenneth and whatshername his ex-wife didn't do "Taming of the Shrew" together, it must be "Much Ado About Nothing". I considered Henry V but she was French in that. If I'm right, I could use some red Tic Tacs. ;-D

Yay Tam, you got it right! I see red tic tacs in your future...
