ok, so, what is UFO? And, I'd like to know, do you like teaching things you love to knit or learning new things to knit better?
And, how many finished products have you given as gifts?

Sandy, UFO means unfinished object. And considering how hard it is for me to give up my beaded projects, it's surprising how few knitted items I've kept for myself. In fact, now that I think about it, the only things that I've finished and kept for myself have been two scarves. One of them Girlie claimed for a bridle for her stuffed horse, and the other she claims as her own, as it is a the most lovely shade of pink. I am working on two sweaters for myself, but I probably won't get to finish them for a while, since Girlie's and Auntie's sweaters come first. So to answer your question, I've given away almost everything I've ever knit. I think a lot of the satisfaction comes in the act of knitting itself, that's why I don't have a problem giving the finished product away.
