Maybe I made the current movie line contest too hard to guess. In the future I will stick to movies that were actually released in theatres, not HBO special features that were later released on video, like this one. See if these clues help:

*The movie is based on a true story.
*The movie is based on a book of the same name.
*HBO released the movie in 1996.
*The story takes place in Russia.
*Donald Sutherland, Steven Rea, and Max von Sydow star.

Even if you haven't seen this movie (which is well worth watching), there should be enough information to google and find the correct answer.
