By the way, this is who I am knitting for. Again, technical blog help/advice on how to put the buttons on the sidebar would be very much appreciated by this doody-head.

The short answer is to go into your template and put the link to your picture in your side bar. I would put it after the end profile that is braketed by !. I tried to put the exact thing in, but bloger wouldn't accept the comment with html code in it. Just paste the link right on in there and it should show up as a picture in your side bar. I hope that helps a bit.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm probably not doing it 100% correctly, because when you click on the pictures there is no link to the websites, but hey, the pictures are actually in the sidebar and I'm happy with that for now.
